Starbucks wanted to return to its roots as a third place. With a renewed focus on personalized notes, free refills, and a warm, welcoming in-store experience, they needed a campaign that would remind Canadians of the meaningful everyday moments that happen at Starbucks.

It’s Never Just Coffee is a campaign that invites Canadians to see coffee at Starbucks as more than just a drink — it’s a ritual, a moment of connection, a special treat, and so much more. From a barista who remembers your order to a long-awaited reunion, every cup offers a chance to experience the warmth of community.
