Santa Clarita Diet was a new Netflix Original launching to a global audience. But to get Canadians excited about a show set in sunny California, we needed a localized approach.

Enter BodyBreak — the iconic Canadian fitness show from the early ’90s, hosted by Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod. We resurrected the show for a special episode about the hot new “Santa Clarita Diet” — with a sinister twist.

The result? A nostalgic, creepy crossover that made Canadians take notice.
