Client: Netflix (Stranger Things)

No one at Netflix was prepared for the success of Stranger Things. With little to no support behind the show, Netflix needed to find a big way to promote the runaway summer hit for Halloween.

Through social listening, we discovered a group of superfans in Atlanta, Georgia, who loved how the show was filmed there, including a cameo by local news anchor Brenda Woods. To capitalize on the excitement, we revived Brenda Woods' Emmy-winning show Minute by Minute for a special news update on Barbara Holland — a cult favourite from the show.

Fans were ecstatic and started to rally behind #JusticeForBarb as they eagerly awaited the next season.
